These are the terms for using Getfolio. By signing up, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t sign up.

What Getfolio is

Getfolio is a service that helps you build and host a personal portfolio website. You chat with an AI, it writes a draft, you publish it. Free at getfolio.me/p/yourname; Premium adds LinkedIn auto-posting, a CV builder, custom email, and more. Domains are billed separately.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• One account per person. You’re responsible for keeping your password safe.
• The information you give us at sign-up must be accurate.

Your content

Everything you put into your portfolio — text, photos, links — stays yours. By using Getfolio you grant us the technical licence we need to store and display it (host the files, serve the pages, generate previews). That licence ends when you delete the content or the account.

You promise that what you upload is yours to upload, or that you have permission to use it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Getfolio to:

• Publish unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or sexually explicit content involving minors.
• Impersonate someone else, or claim credentials you don’t have.
• Send spam, malware, or run phishing campaigns from your portfolio domain.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to break the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. For clear, urgent abuse (e.g. impersonation, copyright infringement) we’ll act without notice; otherwise we’ll give you a chance to respond.

AI-generated content

The AI helps you write your portfolio, but the result is yours and your responsibility. Review what it produces before publishing. The AI sometimes gets things wrong; don’t publish anything you haven’t read.

LinkedIn auto-posting (Premium)

If you opt into the LinkedIn integration, posts will be published on your behalf using the scopes you grant on the LinkedIn consent screen. You can revoke access at any time from LinkedIn settings, and from the Getfolio dashboard. You are responsible for the content of anything posted from your account — including AI-generated drafts you approve.

Payment, refunds, cancellation

Premium is $3/month or $30/year, billed in advance. You can cancel any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Refunds for the most recent charge: email us within 14 days and we’ll process it.

Domains, when bought through us, are billed separately and are generally non-refundable (the registrar charges us upfront).

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period — in either case we’ll give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data.

Disclaimer & liability

Getfolio is provided “as is” while in beta. We’ll do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we don’t guarantee perfect uptime or that the AI will always produce great results. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to what you’ve paid us in the last twelve months.

Changes

We’ll update these terms occasionally — material changes get an email and a notice in-app. If you keep using Getfolio after a change, you accept the updated terms.
